Home and Trade is an established, 52 year old Building Materials Supplier based in Burton Upon Trent. We boast a 5 acre site with 4 HGV's, Tipper, Luton Van, Kitchens/Bathrooms/Bedrooms displays along with a landscaping showroom.

We are expanding and are looking for a experienced Operations Manager.

*Overview*

We are seeking a dynamic Operations manager to oversee our operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

*Operations*

- **Primary Focus**: Managing the day-to-day activities required to produce goods or services, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.

- **Key Objectives**: Ensuring timely delivery of products, maintaining stock levels, managing logistics, and optimizing processes.

- **Internal Efficiency**: Operations focus more on internal processes, such as inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and staff management.

- **Cost-Oriented**: Operations are focused on cost control, efficiency, and ensuring that the business can deliver what sales teams promise to customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Managing stock levels and replenishment to meet sales demand.

- Coordinating logistics and delivery of goods to customers.

- Ensuring smooth warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

- Implementing health and safety regulations.

- Streamlining processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

The role of Operations Manager is vitally important to the growth and trajectory of the Business. The operations manager will work very closely with the Sales Manager. The operations role will report directly to the Director.
